The Final Stretch

For a long time, Enclave was an idea.

Then it became drawings.

Permits.

Steel.

Concrete.

Walls.

Deliveries.

Decisions.

More decisions.

And occasionally decisions about decisions we thought had already been made.

Now something has changed.

You can feel the club.

Walk through the building and the pieces no longer seem separate.

The golf bays belong to the lounge.

The lounge belongs to the bar.

The materials make sense under the lighting.

Spaces that once required imagination no longer need an explanation.

Enclave is approaching its next chapter.

We haven't rushed it.

There have been opportunities to make things easier.

There always are.

Use the simpler material.

Accept the ordinary detail.

Choose the solution everyone else uses.

Move on.

Sometimes we did choose simplicity.

Other times we started again.

Because opening quickly was never the only objective.

Opening something worthy of the people who will belong here was.

What started with golf became something larger.

Eight simulator bays will make Enclave a serious place to play.

But the club was never designed to empty when the round ends.

We want members to stay.

Have the drink.

Watch the game.

Meet the person at the next table.

Bring a friend.

Bring a client.

Come back tomorrow without needing a particular reason.

That's when a building becomes a club.

And now comes the best part.

Soon Enclave will stop being ours alone.

Members will create their own routines.

Their own competitions.

Their own favorite seats.

Their own stories.

Some will come because they love golf.

Some will discover that the part they value most happens after the final putt.

That's exactly what we hoped would happen.

We've spent a long time building Enclave.

We're almost ready to let Enclave begin.
